RBR-button-small  Ho! Ho! Ho! It is Christmas in July Blog Hop and have I got some great gifts for you!! Welcome to this Exciting Christmas Blog Hop Hosted by… ~Inspired Kathy~ at unnamedunnamedCONGRATS TO Lori H. on Winning the Three physical copies of The Christmas in July Christmas theme Books & to Raymond S. for Winning the corresponding Three e-books in the Christmas in July Blog Hop!!

Christmas is for kids of all ages and an honored Holiday in many countries. That is why there will be a U.S/Can & an International drawing!  For this Hop wonderful Authors have offered Children’s Christmas books and a Christmas novella for the whole family. Be sure to check out my reviews on each of them on this site.

Last year I was presented an outstanding children’s book written by the amazing, Award-Winning Children’s Author, Sherrill S. Cannon…   Here is Goodreads Synopsis of it.

Santa's Birthday Gift-ill   If your child or grandchild has ever wondered where Santa fits in with the traditional Christmas story, now you can read them Santa’s Birthday Gift. Finally, a book that ties two holiday traditions into one inspirational tale of wonder – as Santa brings gifts to baby Jesus. The cleverly-written, rhyming book reveals Santa’s adventure from toymaker to star follower — right into the heart of Bethlehem where he meets Baby Jesus in the manger. Delivering toys to a king is a touching experience for both Santa and readers alike, as they discover where the tradition began — Santa makes a promise to Jesus to bring gifts to good boys and girls each year on Jesus’ birthday. This delightful story is engaging and delivers meaningful lessons using recognizable nativity characters, and of course, Santa and Jesus. Author Sherrill S. Cannon says her inspiration for this book came from her granddaughter who, after hearing the Christmas story, asked, “But where’s Santa?” Cannon has been weaving stories and poems even before she could write. She enjoys the creative process and says her goal in each book is to teach good manners, as well as caring for others. Her background is in physical education, sports photography and she also had a column in a newspaper.

About this author

SSC13 copy :

I am the author of six published rhyming award-winning children’s books, The Magic Word, Peter and the Whimper-Whineys, Santa’s Birthday Gift, Gimme-Jimmy, Manner-Man and My Fingerpaint Masterpiece. I have also written seven published musical plays for children which are available at Lazy Bee Scripts. I am a magna cum laude graduate of The American University in Washington DC, and have been a teacher, photographer, publicist, stage manager, and a business administrator – as well as an author!

I am happy to announce that my newest book, My Fingerpaint Masterpiece, is a Finalist in two different categories – Children’s Concept and Children K-3 – in the 2014 Readers Favorite Awards. I have also entered it in the Illustrations category, but that won’t be announced until Sept. 1st when all the placements are also announced. Right now, it’s really exciting to be a Finalist, since they had almost 50% more entries this year!! My awards now total 25!!     http://www.sherrillcannon.com/

Now, I am eager to introduce an Upcoming New Children & YA Author Angela Muse! I have read two very well-written, colorfully Illustrated Children’s Books of hers. I am certain  she will soon find her place as a top Children/YA Author. What is even more thrilling is she shares this talent with a husband who is also an author! Below is The Christmas Owl published in October of 2013. It strongly supports the message given in ‘Santa’s Birthday Gift’…What better duo can a child view?

The Christmas Owl

18661544  A Barred owl becomes injured and must ask others for help. He promises to give back to those who have a generous heart and he is true to his word.

About this author

3155533 I was born in California to a military family. This meant that I was the “new kid” in school every couple of years. It was hard always trying to make new friends, but I discovered I had a knack for writing. I began writing poetry in high school and really enjoyed expressing myself by using pen and paper. After becoming a Mom in 2003, I continued my storytelling to my own children. In 2009 I wrote and published my first children’s book aimed at toddlers. In 2012 I am set to release several more children’s books. Check out what I’m working on by visiting my children’s book blog.

I also write a blog about living on a gluten-free diet. I love to cook so I share my recipe successes and failures as I continue living without gluten.
Writing is such a wonderful creative process and I look forward to sharing more of my stories with lots of new little readers!  https://www.goodreads.com/author/show/3155533.Angela_Muse

      Hi Nancy from Madison!
I love the snow as long as I do not have to drive on icy roads or in a blizzard.
Of course, I’ve never lived where the snow gets more than two feet high, either.
Hope your Christmastime is great this year.
