Well. I really messed up this month (partially due to health issues and corrupted computers.), and failed to post my review last week of Bloodrealms! ( I thought I had! -Those dratted Senior Moments!)
Remember Bloodmark & my Review in the beginning of the month?
Book Description for Bloodmark (Book #1):
Sixteen-year-old werewolf princess Ashling Boru is different from other wolves–she was able to shift to a wolf at birth. Rather than bringing pride to her family, it brings fear, and she is sent to live in Ireland’s secluded countryside. Ashling’s reputation is further blackened when she refuses her betrothed, defying the ancient laws. When her pack’s oldest rivals begin to hunt her, she finds herself in the small town of York Harbor, Maine, far from everything she’s known.
When she crosses paths with dark and rebellious Grey Donavan, something ignites within her soul. There’s just one problem: Grey is human. Their instant connection turns into a passionate romance, and Ashling begins to believe she can create her own life outside of wolf laws. When she uncovers long-buried pack secrets that threaten to destroy all she holds dear, Ashling’s courage and tenacity are tested. Will she choose her deep and enduring love for Grey or will she follow Old Mother’s path to her destiny?

Below is the review For Bloodrealms then the one for Bloodmoon ! – I am truly sorry, Laura & Aurora. I hope my Reviews will assist you in choosing these books.
Book Description for Bloodrealms (Book #2):
Werewolf princess Ashling Boru’s eighteenth birthday is only a year away, which means that she only has twelve months before she is claimed and fulfills her prophecy to unite the packs and lead her people. Her father decrees that her four suitors must fight in the Bloodrealms, the werewolves’ ancient underground fighting world, and the winner will have King Boru’s choice to win Ashling’s hand. The wolf laws are rigid and barbaric, and Ashling’s illicit love for Grey, if discovered, will mean his death. But when Ashling and Grey get trapped in the blood-soaked depths of the Bloodrealms, they find ancient horrors far greater than Ashling’s father’s rule.
With betrayal around every corner and old nemeses set to destroy Ashling, she is more divided than ever between the destiny she didn’t choose and the love that she did. To make matters worse, her decision will not only set the course of her future, but the future of her entire race.

Ashling and Grey have really been “pushing the bounds” in containing the love and bond they feel for each other. After the havoc in book one, a large council was called by her father for all the various part of his kingdom leaders and allies to come together to decide on the fate of Ashling’s future. Despite some objections, Grey has earned a right to become a suitor. Three others spoke up to claim equal right. Now the dreaded training for the deadly sports in the Bloodrealms have arrived. Once again, fighting her father, Ashling will go to the Bloodrealms while her suitors train. But first, she must spend time with each suitor so each can vie for her affections. Being away from Grey during these times are excruciating! However, while with each, she discovers things she never realized about them and about herself. There are times she feels she cannot keep enduring and other times she is shocked! The best thing is during this time, much of it she gets to spend with her human friends and build new relationships.
The final suitor she must spend time with is Eamon. None of her other suitors – nor Ashling- want this to happen. They all go to the Bloodrealms to train while they await his dreaded return to claim his time with her. During training, things go awry and it seems Grey and Ashley have seen the end of their days in this life.
As with Bloodmark, there is non-stop action and suspense, extreme graphic violence, plus, an added explicit sex scene. This is definitely not recommended for younger YA. The Book Covers and Titles are simple, eye-catching, and a perfect fit. Although a few new characters are successfully added, the reader is given a more complete insight into pervious characters, as well. There are a few unexpected and impressive twists to the plot.
The main negative is the explicit sex and extreme violence for a book directed at a YA audience, affects this recommendation. Also, although action-filled suspense keeps the reader interested, it begins to feel too repetitive.
This book was gifted to me but in no way affects this honest review.
This earns a Three and a Half Stars review
Book Description for Bloodmoon (Book #3):
Just months shy of her claiming at Carrowmore and fulfilling a centuries-old prophecy, werewolf Ashling Boru has stepped into her role as the Crimson Queen. She finally has the support of her pack and her love for Grey is stronger than ever.
But it’s not easy being queen. Ashling’s guardian, Baran, has been captured by the Dvergars, a family of evil wolves who will stop at nothing to possess Ashling’s power and destroy everything–and everyone–she loves. Ashling must unite the clans and build an army to stand against the Dvergars before it’s too late. Unfortunately, the Dvergars also have armies of the darkest creatures the world has ever known.
Shadows loom, growing ever larger as generations of pack secrets begin to unfold. Ashling’s people, the humans they protect, and Old Mother Earth herself all hang in the balance of Ashling’s choices. Will Ashling have to forsake her true love to save the world? And will she have the strength to do it? Bloodmoon is the thrilling conclusion to the Bloodmark Saga.

In this final book of the Bloodmark series, Ashling and her newly developed pack pledges commitment while grieving for and paying final respects to so many precious lives lost in the last battle…The worst is yet to come. Ashling divides her group up, giving them specific assignments to help defend and protect those who has joined her and in preparation for the upcoming great battle at Carrowmore and in fulfilling the prophesy of the Crimson Queen. The evil Dvergars do al they can to prevent that battle from ever occurring. They want revenge and power over all, now!
Bloodmoon continues in the graphically violent, with sexual situations and some profanity as with the two earlier books of the Trilogy. The events and threats leading to the final battle continue but, once again, begin feeling too repetitive. The astonishing events lead to one conclusive, explosive ending.
These are a very well-written, creative series, if there had been a little less gore and sadism with more relation development and imagination, this would have been a series of greater awe than it is.
