REVIEW by LAWonder10:
Lucie was totally unaware of her ex-husband swindling so many people out of very large sums of money while they were still married. She was devastated when the proof was layed out before her. How could she have been so trusting? Most could not believe she knew nothing of his crimes and felt like she should be in prison along with her ex-husband. Thankfully, there were a few in town who knew she could not do such a thing and encouraged and supported her. They gave her jobs, up to three at a time, so she could support her two children and herself.

Two years later, she had received the property her deseased parents had given her before she was married. She had a dream to repair and upgrade it into a health center. She was nearing phase one when she had  e-mailed her High School friend who had obtained "hero" status, in hope he would endorse her. Little did she know he had been transferred back to his home town. His visit to her upon his return had little to do with her email and a lot to do with his parent's request.

This is a well-written story of a man being torn between several conflicts, a single mother's effort to prove herself to her community, in spite of the odds. It is a story of sorting out true friendship and of individuals searching deep within themselves for who they truly are.

The scenes and characters were well defined and easily visualized. The Cover and Title were fitting.

The only negative I experienced was the scenario was slightly drawn out but not boring. It left one with a uplifted feeling.

I offer a Four and a Half Stars rating.
*This book was gifted me with no pressure for a positive review. This is my honest review.
