Olivia is drawn to him, but he pushes her away, unable to shake the past that still haunts him. Mick Donovan learned at a young age never to let anyone close because those you love never stay. Keeping people at arms-length has never been hard for him---until he meets Olivia Dalton. Mick is caught up in a case she’s prosecuting, and he can’t deny his attraction to her, but when she uncovers the past he’s kept carefully hidden, he’s sure she’ll turn away. Kindle buy link: Amazon : My Review: (LAWonder10) Olivia's only close sibling is David, a High School teacher. She flees from a social situation to visit her brother in a nearby community, discovering the person she thought escaped, was at the eating establishment she and her bother were eating at. When Olivia tried to apprehend her, she fled again, taking with her something which didn't belong to her. Mick, was a teacher, Olivia's brother despised, yet Olivia went with him chasing a girl! Mick met the young sin of the woman who fled. While trying to find her, he discovered the boy abandoned in the park. He felt strangely attached to the boy. Could he arrange to keep him until the mother was found? This is a fast-paced, poignant tale, covering several human interest topics, is highly recommended to all YA & Adult audiences. This is a story a variety of readers will truly enjoy. The characters feel real and the scenes seems to "draw the reader into them. The Book Title and Cover are eye-catching and will appeal to the "browser". The only negative aspect of this book is at times it felt repetitive. Otherwise, it was a great adventurous story with the just right touch of romance and mystery. I offer a Four and a Half Stars rating. This book was gifted me with no stipulation of a positive review. This is my honest review. ![]() Author Bio: Julie Coulter Bellon is the author of more than a dozen novels.
