REVIEW by LAWonder10:
Brokk is set on revenge.  Cale is out for revenge, also, but in a more deceitful way.
This conclusion to The Conquests of Brokk series should not be read as a stand alone.
I feel this review does not do justice to the author, since I did not read the first two of the trilogy. It is clear the author is a good writer with creativity, good grammatical skills and has plenty of action and conflicts. It was just too difficult to "connect" with the tale and retain interest. There were too many characters and too many events to "sort out"!
The characters were created with a vivid imagination.
The story contained a few underlying morals, addressing differences in races and cultures and, also, in pre-judging without insight, were among them.
Judging by the writing style and skills, I am certain, - I was given  second opinion confirming my evaluation -  if I had read the other two beforehand, my review would totally be presented differently.
As it stands, I can only offer a Three and a Half Stars rating.

*This book was sent to me by the publisher with no request for a positive review. This is my honest review

Brokk is the chosen one. His golden skin proves it, his supreme leader has given him the warships, and the dead have accepted his sacrifice. With an armada of battleships and forty million soldiers, Brokk will be chancellor of the Tassian system by nightfall.
Even the best of plans can come unraveled, and for Brokk, the desperate moves of a vagrant named Casika risks destroying everything he set in motion.
The battle for Tassi begins with an artillery barrage so vicious the sky itself is darkened. But in war, there is rarely a clear winner.

With no support from his government and labeled a renegade by his leaders, Brokk is forced into hiding. While he rebuilds his fleet, Brokk meets a powerful new ally and makes a dozen new foes. As Brokk navigates the criminal underworld and plans his next move, one thing is certain: the Galactic Order will not stop until it has brought Brokk to justice.
