Robin Cove has had enough of her boss, is over her boyfriend, and makes a split-second decision to leave it all behind. Too bad she didn’t check the weather forecast before she left. Stranded on the side of the road when her old car breaks down, Robin fears her impulsive action will be the death of her, as her body temperature steadily lowers to dangerous levels.
Matt Landry is slowly making his way home in the storm, when he finds an unconscious woman on the side of the road and rushes her home to his father Chris to save her.
When Robin wakes up, she finds herself in the kind of home that she has always dreamed of having, except for the handsome man with the surly attitude. As much as Robin wants to stay, she knows she’ll never win him over and needs to find the right future for herself.
Will Robin’s future bring her back to Chris and his kids? Or, will Chris lose the chance to have the love of a woman who will never leave him and the family he has always wanted?

REVIEW By LAWonder10:
Rory is escaping a bad situation she can no longer endure. She is fleeing to the place she grew up in. Although her mother and grandmother have both passed away, she still has a few friends there. Avoiding the heavy traffic, she takes the back roads. Not prepared for the heavy snowstorm, even with the heat on in her car, she is still cold. Suddenly her car begins to sputter then stops. Devastated, she has to get out to get a blanket at the bottom of the pile in the back seat. After a few attempts, she is locked out of her car. She is going to die out in the cold.
Matt Landry surprises his father with an urgent situation. Little does any of them know how their life will change.
The characters are all defined well and the scenes are portrayed well and easily visualized.
This would be a great family story if explicit scenes and the few words of profanity had been excluded.
There were some touching scenes but it was fairly predictable. It was a good story. The Narrator Lisa Beacon, did a fair job in her narration. Some of the time her voice sounded breathless, especially when the male main character was speaking .
I offer a Four Stars rating.
