My Mom has been gone for many years now. There is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her. She was the epitome of unconditional love. I never appreciated her as much as I do now... Now that I am much older, more experienced in life and much wiser. One doesn't have to give birth to be a mother figure. I have had several relatives who have inspired me and have been an amazing example to me. I have had women in the community who have "taken me under wing" and have had a loving and enormous influence in my life because I knew they truly cared. I was blessed to have an imperfect, yet wonderful Mom. I read a book last year that stated we are perfect for our child (if we truly try to be our best selves). I have come to believe that. I honor all mother figures and urge each of you to never underestimate yourselves and the loving influence you can have on others, even if you aren't their biological mother. (Trust me, I appreciate the loving help from "adopted" mothers who aided me in raising my children!) Here are some special videos to honor, mothers and all the many women in the world who assist mothers in this very sacred calling! There is so much amazing talent in individuals of this world!
