REVIEW by LAWonder10:
Harper was the daughter of a very controversial and successful businessman. After the sudden death of her boyfriend, a few months prior, she was, now, ready to move on with her life.

Kyle was Harper's former boyfriend's best friend. he had refused to leave the Navy Seals with his best friend. Now he was, also, a former SEAL, and was in Harper's father's high rise, where his deceased friend's former employer, Dahlia, also had an office. Kyle hoped to fill the opening his friend's death had left. Another former SEAL friend, also worked for the company.

Ky;e had only met Harper's father once, but he immediately noticed him in the middle of a gaggle of protesters and press reporters, and someone trying to kill him!. He immediately interceded and got the man free from his attackers. Harper's father recognized Kyle, also, and invited him to "chat" with him. Upon learning pf Kyle's new civilian status, he hired him as Harper's temporary bodyguard.

Kyle hesitated to accept the offer, but he had made a promise to hi former buddy. He would make sure Harper was protected. He would have a problem keeping his attraction for the woman under control, but he would do it. She was nt at all what he expected a Billionaire's daughter to be like.

The adventures begin...

I love this author's writing! She always creates interesting stories which is sure to captivaate the reader from the beginning. There is always a degree of action, mystery and romance to her compositions. Her characters and background scenes are easily visualizes and seem real. Her Book Covers and Titles are always eye-catching, yet simple, and very "fitting" for the story.

I offer a Four and a Half Stars rating for this book.
*This book was gifted me with no suggestion of receiving a positive review. This is my honest review.

                   About the Author
USA Today bestselling author Carol Ross grew up in small town America right between the Pacific Ocean and the Cascade Mountains, in a place where you can go deep sea fishing in the morning and then hit the ski slopes the same afternoon. The daughter of what is now known as free range parents, she developed a love of the outdoors at a very early age. As a writer, Carol loves to breathe the life she has lived into the characters she creates, grateful for the “research material” that every questionable decision, adrenaline-charged misstep, and near-death experience has provided.
