For the first time since returning to life on land, Linus Lancaster has something challenging to look forward to: the seemingly impossible task of preventing his infamous brother-in-law from wreaking havoc on a house party he is being forced to attend against his will. But Linus's sisters have something far more dangerous in mind... matchmaking!
MY REVIEW: (LAWonder10)
As with all of Sarah M. Eden's historical romance novel's, this was a pleasant drama which does not disappoint the reader. It has plenty of "twists" and slight humor which is very entertaining.
Former Lieutenant Lancaster an his brother-in-law, Harry, are summoned by the "dangerous Duke" brother-in-law, only to discover they are invited to a special event to be held at another sister's estate. They cannot refuse. The brother-in-law which owns the estate is an enemy to the"dangerous Duke" and it is up to Harry and "Lieutenant" Lancaster to keep peace.
The forthcoming exchange between the delightfully diverse group of individuals will surely keep the reader amused!
In Loving Lieutenant Lancaster, the author has described the characters in a way which endears them to the reader and the scenes are portrayed in a way, easily visualized.
This is a Cinderella-type tale, mixed with a few "match-making" sisters which adds conflicting entertainment.
This is a perfect "Summer Read" chick-lit.
The Book Cover and Title is"fitting" and "eye-catching".
The only negative is, as so often with dramas, the content's main point was a little too drawn out.
I offer a Four and a Half Stars.
