REVIEW by LAWonder10:
This little book of sage advise is a great addition to any father's personal library. In fact, it is an informative guide for any parent. Some of the topics it addresses are commitment, trust, being a father/dad (the differences), responsibility, psychology vs. physiology, work ethics, plus nineteen more!

In delivering this compilation of "tid-bits", the author adds a bit of humor. The total affect is brief and not boring.

This would be a great gift for Father's Day or for a new father.

I offer a Five Stars rating.
* This book was gifted me with no stipulation foe a positive review. This is my honest review.

GUEST POST
The best and worst things about writing a book are…
The best thing about writing a book is that it comes with blank pages. The worst thing about writing a book is that it starts with blank pages. I liken authoring to entrepreneurship. It’s incredibly alluring to build your own business. Starting from scratch has a certain appeal to type As or those who are confident in their abilities. Creating a business from inception, however, sometimes takes us back to that phrase, “Be careful what you wish for.”
With the autonomy of creating words, story and hopefully meaning on a piece of paper comes a tremendous responsibility. Perhaps that mantle is self-imposed, but as a writer, I take very seriously the reader on the other end of the prose who needs a return on his or her investment. If I’m asking for cash, time and focus, I better deliver the goods. There are days when the words fly on fingertips, and there are days when I stare at the screen and it glares back at me as if to say, “There’s nothing to see here, so please move along.”
Such a natural high exists, though, when you reach the finish line of creating a book. All the late nights, days, dreams and impromptu wife review sessions in the middle of dinner have paid off. Could you have done more? Absolutely. It’s like running a race: you probably could have made the journey faster by taking the hills at a faster pace or cutting the corners a bit tighter, but you finished. It’s an exhausting, exhilarating process that usually doesn’t end with fame and glory, but with a sigh of relief, and if lucky enough, a sheepish grin across your visage.
Am I looking forward to writing my next book? Absolutely not! And yet I cannot wait to start it …
