Goodreads│Amazon│Barnes & Noble│Harlequin ![]() Review by Vickie: I loved this book. It has a lot of things going on in the story. I could relate to many of the issues the characters experienced. The characters are well-developed and I enjoyed getting to know them all and it was easy to feel their emotions. I liked the setting of the story and could see myself there among everyone. The cover is perfect for the book and I also liked the title a lot. I would highly recommend this book to other readers. I give this a literary rating of 5/5 written by vickie Review by LAWonder10: Lib had a secret...one that would affect the rest of her life. At thirty-four Lib and Tucker, once again, shared the same birthday celebration. They had been best friends since birth. Tucker decided it was time to settle down, find a wife and had a few kids before he got any older. Lib stated she was content with her single life and wanted no children. She just wanted to expand her business and enjoy further success in baking and doing what she loved. She wanted to experience adventures and new experiences. While celebrating both made a pact. 1. For Tucker to allow Lib to find him eligible women to date. 2. For Lib to allow Tucker to take her on adventures and present her with opportunities for new experiences. This all took place while wedding preparations of her close friend, Arlie's & Tucker's "Irish Twin" brother, Jack's upcoming nuptials. While enjoying the ups and downs of their pact, a new discovery evolved. ..A discovery which my tear their friendship apart. After a disaster occurred, Lib's dreams were greatly destroyed. She couldn't share her secret! Was this the end of everything? This is a steady moving, well-written story. It is, also, very close to real life. While reading this book, there are times yo may want a box of Kleenix nearby. I enjoyed the writing skill of the author in masking strong language, keeping the read's interest and in creating the characters , along with scenes, which draws the reader "into" the tale. The only thing I found unsettling was it was slightly dragged out, yet done so very well. I offer a Four and a Half Stars rating. *This book was gifted me with no suggestions of a positive review. This is my honest review. ![]() About the Author Liz Flaherty was a little nervous about retiring from her day job, but making quilts, more family time, traveling at the mere mention of “why don’t we go...” and becoming a Harlequin Heartwarming author have made the past years more fun and exciting than she could ever have imagined.
