The Hocus Pocus Magic Shop by Abigail Drake - Review by LAWonder10 + Giveaway! {Ends 11/28/19}11/1/2019 ![]() The Hocus Pocus Magic Shop (South Side Stories Book 2) by Abigail Drake
REVIEW by LAWonder10: I appropriately spent Halloween Eve and day reading this book. It was captivating. Chemist Grace O'Leary was weeks away from earning her PhD. She had a boyfriend, she loved teaching her university class, and looking forward to making it a permanent position. This is why she was devastated when her mentor, Dr. Lewis accused her of cheating and suspended her! Her beloved, "Kooky" aunt had an accident and needed help with her shop. Since Grace's boyfriend broke up with her and she was suspended, she decided it would be good for her to go spend time with her aunt and help with her shop. When Grace arrived at the shop, she was shocked at what she found! Little did she realize how this event would lead to danger, mystery, friendships, romance and life change! The characters were very endearing, fantastical and well portrayed. The scenes were easily visualized, The Book Cover and Title were simple, eye-catching and "fitting". ^^Reader Beware: There are a couple of fairly explicit scenes and several sexual references. (So brief, they could have easily been excluded) There is no harsh language, but mild violence . The Book Cover and Title were simple, eye-catching and "fitting". *I won this book. There was no stipulation for a positive review. This is my honest review. ![]() About the Author: Award-winning author Abigail Drake has spent her life traveling the world and collecting stories wherever she visited.
