This first cross genre book, is by an outstanding Award-Winning Author, Ronda Gibb Hinrichsen!
Unforgettable by Ronda Hinrichsen
Paperback, 208 pages
Published May 1st 2018 by Covenant Communications
ISBN: 1524403369 (ISBN13: 9781524403362)
Haley has always admired her strong-willed great-grandmother Grisa. The woman survived the disappearance of her husband and thrived after her immigration to America at the beginning of World War II. But when a shocking telephone call from a detective in Germany turns Haley's life upside down in an instant, she finds herself questioning everything she thought she knew about her heritage.
The body of Ulrich Krauss has been found, and the renowned toymaker and artist has a shocking connection to Haley: he is her great-grandfather—not missing but murdered. Now, at the request of her ailing great-grandmother, Haley travels to Germany to seek answers. What she finds instead are more questions and a growing sense of danger dogging her every step. Protection appears in the form of Joshua, an attractive man from Haley's past who is in Germany on business.
Together the pair embarks on an emotional quest for the truth, only to discover that a generations-old plot is very much alive, and there are those as determined as ever to keep the facts surrounding Ulrich's death hidden—even if it means silencing his great-granddaughter for good.
Award-winning author, Ronda Hinrichsen (also writing as Kathleen Marks) and her family own a small farm located between the beautiful Rocky Mountains and the Great Salt Lake where she regularly sees eagles, hawks, owls, and ducks. Lots of ducks. She is the author of independently and traditionally published non-fiction, romantic suspense and speculative books as well as numerous magazine articles and stories for children and adults. She also enjoys teaching about writing in conference and classroom settings. To learn more about Ronda, visit: Website | Amazon Page | Facebook |

Fall in love with India and the bustling city of Mumbai in Ajay Kaul’s book of short stories, Mumbai Matinee, truth-based fiction that acts as both memoir and travelogue.
Orange County, CA -- Fall in love with India and the bustling city of Mumbai in Ajay Kaul’s book of short stories, Mumbai Matinee, truth-based fiction that acts as both memoir and travelogue. Mumbai Matinee portrays the veritable feast of the commerce, people, and danger which make up India’s most populous city and financial capital. Filled with eight interconnected short stories based on Kaul’s life and work there, this charming book is a terrific pleasure read and highly recommended if you plan to visit.
“This is one delightful book – more than just a fine memoir: this book speaks to the oneness of mankind in the finest manner. Ajay Kaul has created a credible contemporary love song to Mumbai and cordially invites us to join him.”
– Grady Harp, Amazon Top 100 Hall of Fame Reviewer
“The events and stories captured in Mumbai Matinee are a reflection of my own experiences in and around the city,” says Kaul. “What stands out about Mumbai is that it is perpetually open for business. Even occasional acts of terrorism have not been able to create a dent in the commercial mindset of the city. People can look for opportunities and count on them. There is huge encouragement everywhere.”
The tenderness of humanity also abounds. “During bomb blasts, people were volunteering their vehicles to get others to the hospital,” says Kaul. “And on a train, men will stand to give children seating. In Mumbai, life gets shared. You are not alone.”
The stories traverse love, danger, and the compassion of strangers in a city that never sleeps. Meet Sawant, a street vendor whose kiosk serves as the area’s gossip and information network; Ashok Pawar, the cop who becomes entangled in bombings and global terrorism, which Kaul experienced first-hand during the 1993 bombings; Rajat and Roohi, the interfaith couple who touch and change Ajay’s life; and Smita, actress extraordinaire, who steals his heart in a tragic love story. And what book on India would be complete without a compelling tale of the sport of cricket?
“One of the true gifts and pleasures of reading is its ability to transport us all over the globe and into new and sometimes very different ways of life. Such is the case with Ajay Kaul’s mesmerizing memoir, MUMBAI MATINEE.”
- John J. Kelly, Detroit Free Press and Cincinnati Beat book reviewer

For anyone who has ever allowed themselves to be victimized, for anyone who has ever doubted their value, for anyone wanting to protect their children from such vulnerabilities, SANITY LOST & FOUND is a compelling, informative, and inspirational read that weaves together the how and why for such vulnerabilities and the components necessary for recovery and transformation.

BOOK 2 Is a Memoir, allowing the reader to see life through the eyes of an intellectual and physical of a Special Needs person. This book is donated by Strategies Public Relations
Chasing the Merry-Go-Round (memoir, special needs, personal growth)
Published January 14th 2018 by Boulay Press
Life moves fast. Too fast for some people. This is the true story of what it's like to live in a world where you can't keep up. Bobby was ten months old when my mom and dad rescued him from birth parents who were slowly killing him. He was adopted into our family after a lengthy custody battle. Instead of that settling him, it set off a lifelong struggle to find a place to belong, a place to call home. Like an old-fashioned merry-go-round, the world moved at a speed that was just too fast for Bobby. He couldn't keep up, which prevented him from keeping a job, a roof over his head, and the basics needed to survive. The life he dreamt of was always out of reach. No one knew why. While cultural ideals of what a "normal" life looks like can distort our perspective, Chasing the Merry-Go-Round allows readers to see the world through the eyes of a person with intellectual and physical disabilities, which can often be invisible, especially at first glance. It's a story about struggle and hope, survival and resilience, and most of all, the gift of acceptance and love.
I was born and raised between two small towns in Central New York, the middle child of five, with a brother and sister older and a brother and sister younger than me. While this may not seem important to you, it seems to have shaped my personality and life (and writing) in ways I am still trying to understand.
I had this thing about financial security—I needed it. I earned a very practical B.S. in Accounting and became a C.P.A. While I have enjoyed more than 25 years of a successful career in business, the urgency to write could not be denied any longer.
I began to study at the Downtown Writer's Center in Syracuse, NY and graduated from their Creative Writing PRO program. My nonfiction has appeared in several issues of Mom Egg Review, The Mountain, an Anthology published by Outrider Press, Inc. and I have contributed articles to The Post-Standard. My work has won Third Prize and Honorable Mentions in the 2012 and 2013 Soul-Making Keats Literary Competitions, as well as Third Prize in the Fiction500 contest.
I’ve also completed 15 Sprint Triathlons in the last few years—trying to outwit the effects of aging and an otherwise sedentary life. I am an advocate for Narcolepsy awareness and in 2013 launched the CNY Narcolepsy Support Group. I’m passionate about serving my global and local communities and volunteer with organizations that serve those in our world who need a little extra help to keep up with this fast-paced system we’ve created. How we care for those who need help has an everlasting impact. I believe that if the basic needs of a person’s spirit, soul and body are met, it allows them the ability to keep their own corner of the world—their home—safe and prosperous for them and their family. This is all there is.

About the Author:
When Zack Bush was growing up he spent his free time listening to jazz. Instead of imagining a career in law or medicine like so many of his classmates, the Miami native knew he would take a different path. Zack learned to play the piano and would speak with family and friends about one day owning a venue that would bring the music he loved to others. Zack is now the owner of Ball & Chain, a historic live-music venue on Miami’s famed Calle Ocho, in the heart of Little Havana. Zack and his team renovated and restored the nearly forgotten gem, famous for hosting 20th-century jazz greats like Chet Baker, Count Basie, and Billie Holiday. Today, musicians from around the world perform live on the Ball & Chain stage.
Zack’s other passion is books. A devoted reader and writer, Zack’s lifetime desire to become an author has found a refreshed source of inspiration as the father of two-year-old son Ace and baby daughter Ava.

A daughter, tasked with reinventing her father’s magazine, must overcome her own past hometown to fulfill his wife’s dying wish only to realize there’s far more to the story than he realized … Mitch Albom meets Nicholas Sparks as readers are taken on an emotional journey full of laughter and tear.
...The second Book is a Murder mystery by the same author
Uncorking A Murder (fiction, mystery, detective, crime) A retired detective short on time is looking to right a wrong in this "Serial meets Gone Girl" thriller. The Uncorking a Murder podcast took the nation by storm. Farrah Graham, the creator and host, struck a nerve with listeners through a ten-episode serial that combined investigative journalism, old fashioned radio drama, and compelling storytelling. The public, not to mention Farrah’s advertisers, are hungry for season two! While Farrah and her partner Melody struggle to agree on a topic for the second season of Uncorking a Murder, their intern takes a call from a retired detective in Ft. Lauderdale pitching his request that the next season focus on a case he was involved with five years earlier. Curious to hear why a retired detective is driven to have a conviction overturned, Farrah follows her curiosity down to Ft. Lauderdale where she uncovers a conspiracy involving a narcissistic CEO and a US Senator willing to do anything to protect their secrets, but will she live long enough to uncork the story?

In How Could We Harness a Hurricane?, Vicki Cobb describes this natural phenomenon and the three things it's made of: air, water, and energy. ABOUT VICKI COBB
Vicki Cobb is the well-known author of more than eighty-five highly entertaining nonfiction books for children. Ever since 1972, when HarperCollins first published Science Experiments You Can Eat, Cobb's lighthearted approach to hands-on science has become her trademark for getting kids involved in experiences that create real learning. It is no surprise that she is known as the "Julia Child of hands-on science." Currently, she is becoming increasingly popular as a speaker to children and adults as educators search out sources for materials and activities that promote learning. Today's popular buzz words in education--"hands-on-science," "experimental learning," "out-come based," "multi-disciplinary" and critical thinking" are embodied in Vicki Cobb's work.Vicki Cobb credits her outlook on education to her mother's forward-looking thinking. From kindergarten to sixth grade she attended The Little Red School House in Greenwich Village. Her early education was a joyful experience of hands-on activities, field trips, reading children's literature (not textbooks), creative projects, and a kind of portfolio evaluation that today's educators realize are the most powerful tools for producing individuals who have a lifetime love of learning. According to Cobb her books "allow me to recreate the joy of learning I experienced in elementary school for myself, forever."
Vicki Cobb graduated from Barnard College with a major in zoology and went on to get a Master's degree in Secondary Science Education. After early careers as a laboratory researcher and science teacher, she became a full-time writer of science books for children. Light Action! Amazing Experiments in Optics represents her life as both author and parent. Her coauthor is her son Josh, and optical engineer and the illustrator is her son Theo, an artist and art director.
Vicki is a charter member of the award-winning group blog Interesting Nonfiction for Kids (I.N.K.) and she is the founder and president of Ink Think Tank, LLC, a company of the best nonfiction authors around, in all disciplines K-12, dedicated to bringing the nonfiction literature into the classroom. She is also a regular blogger for Education Update and the Huffington Post where she regularly questions the state of education, literacy, and the strange absence of using nonfiction literature in the classroom
