This second is a very inspiring non-fiction by new author I hope to soon interview and learn more about - Melvin L. Jones. It is written for Young Adults and Adults, too!
The Onyx Renaissance by Melvin L. Jones
“Excellence, with no regrets”...
“Chill Will”, “Benji”, “Big Mel”, “Juice” and “Ice”. Will Appling, Owen Benjamin, Mel Jones, O.J. McDuffie, and Marcus Teague. Before the Michigan “Fab Five”, there was the “Juice Crew All-Stars” of Hawken.
In the Fall of 1985, five young men from the Cleveland area... two from Cleveland's Woodhill Park neighborhood, and three from Warrensville Heights, began their high school experience at Hawken School: a private school on the outskirts of Cleveland in Gates Mills.
In the three years they attended Hawken, the “Juice Crew” changed the way people looked at the school as a whole; athletically and socially. While at the same time, these five young men saw civic, cultural and economic differences; things they never dreamed of experiencing while living around the inner city of Cleveland. In an era where social media was relegated to newspapers, radio and television, the “Juice Crew” brought notoriety to a school that was widely considered to be... “a school for bookworms”.
“The Onyx Renaissance” chronicles the story of how these five young men came together and forged a brotherhood that allowed them to express themselves athletically and socially. Their acts had long-lasting effects on the school located in Gates Mills... effects that were still being felt today. In a phrase, the “Juice Crew” made Hawken... “Prime Time”.

This Third Book is an intriguing Non-fiction about Ancient wisdom for the modern world, demonstrating that 'incurable' merely means 'curable from within'. It is generously donated by John Hunt Publishing.
SynopsisWhat Maggy Whitehouse has discovered, over more than a quarter of a century of studying, teaching and writing books on Kabbalah, is that, used as a tool for inspiration, Kabbalah is a magical loom on which we can weave our healing, and from that healing, we become an agent of healing for the World. Kabbalah tells us exactly where, when, how and why we may be out of alignment with health, finances and relationships and, just as importantly, how to realign ourselves.
For Maggy, it began with chronic lack of self-esteem which, in turn, led to many a humiliation, widowhood, shark attack, failed emigration, debt, divorce, shame, misery, hatred and what the doctors called an incurable illness which now no longer exists. It can be summed up, in a way, by how the first eight aspects led to the final one and how Kabbalah taught Maggy how to heal them, from finish to start. After all, 'incurable' surely means 'curable from within'.
ABOUT the AUTHOR: Rev. Maggy Whitehouse has studied and taught Judaeo-Christian mysticism, Bible Metaphysics and the Spiritual Laws of Prosperity for 25 years and teaches workshops across the UK, USA and Europe. She is dedicated to mutual understanding between faiths using mystical interpretations of tradition. Maggy trained as a journalist and has worked in print media, radio and television. She is a qualified teacher of healing in two disciplines, an ordained minister in an independent sacramental church and is the author of seventeen books, both factual and fiction, including From Credit Crunch to Pure Prosperity, The Miracle Man and The Marriage of Jesus. Maggy co-founded and edited the Midlands holistic health and spirituality magazine The Tree of Life. In 2012 she began a new career in Spiritual Stand-Up Comedy and is being hailed as the new Dave Allen. She lives in Devon, UK

Paperback, 296 pages | ISBN:1789043972 (ISBN13: 9781789043976)
Expected publication: August 1st 2020 by 6th Books
A New Investigation Into Destructive Haunting fills that void, advancing and updating Colin Wilson's work Poltergeist!, this study's namesake from over 38 years ago. Fraser takes readers on a journey from the Borley Rectory to the Isle of Man, and grounds his readers in an historical overview of 'Poltergeist phenomena'. He examines where such events overlap with other paranormal investigations of 'apparitional' ghosts. What do they have in common, what do they differ?
To answer this, Fraser looks to new research on paranormal events, never before published in book form. Fraser contends, perhaps controversially, that ghost sightings are and always will be ambiguous and near-impossible to prove, that only Poltergeist phenomena can be empirically verified.

The Third Book, provided by Looking Glass Digital Marketing is for Teens & YA
A story of sisterhood, solidarity, and finding your place in a changing world, A GIRL IN THREE PARTS is part Eighth Grade, part Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, and entirely original.
A GIRL IN THREE PARTS by Suzanne Daniel
(Teen/YA Version of Allegra)
Published by Knopf Books for Young Readers
Apr 14, 2020 | 320 Pages | ISBN 9781984851079
Allegra Elsom is caught in the middle. Some days she’s eleven, and others she feels closer to nineteen. Some days she knows too much, and others she feels hopelessly naive. Some days she is split in three, torn between conflicting loyalties to her grandmothers, Matilde and Joy, and her father, Rick–none of whom can stand to be in a room together since the decades-old tragedy that hit their family like a wrecking ball.
Allegra struggles to make peace in her family and navigate the social gauntlet at school while asking bigger questions about her place in the world: What does it mean to be “liberated”? What is it about “becoming a woman” that earns her a slap in the face? What does it mean to do the right thing, when everyone around her defines it differently?
As the feminist movement reshapes her Sydney suburb, Allegra makes her own path–discovering firsthand the incredible ways that women can support each other, and finding strength within herself to stand up to the people she loves.
Readers will not soon forget Suzanne Daniel’s poignant debut, or the spirit of sisterhood that sings out from its pages.
“Daniel pulls no punches in this emotional and insightful debut about working through family trauma and owning your power. An excellent choice for those interested in feminism, a bit of mystery, and a lot of heart-wrenching drama.” —Booklist

First, in honor of the 4th of July and the American Revolutionary War from which America became a Free country, I'd like to introduce three very good books for reference. I am forever grateful to the brave men and women who sacrificed so greatly so they and, mostly, future generations could enjoy religious freedom, freedom from severe taxation and tyranny and more. If we do not read and learn of the reasons, the efforts and the outcome, we will fail to understand and appreciate what it took for this to happen. Awareness is important if we RETAIN these freedoms and NOT have to make the same sacrifices to get it back!
1776 is an excellent source to learn all about the Revolutionary War. It is an older print book but is now wonderfully made available on audible, too!
In this stirring audiobook, David McCullough tells the intensely human story of those who marched with General George Washington in the year of the Declaration of Independence, when the whole American cause was riding on their success, without which all hope for independence would have been dashed and the noble ideals of the Declaration would have amounted to little more than words on paper.
Based on extensive research in both American and British archives, 1776 is the story of Americans in the ranks, men of every shape, size, and color, farmers, schoolteachers, shoemakers, no-accounts, and mere boys turned soldiers. And it is the story of the British commander, William Howe, and his highly disciplined redcoats, who looked on their rebel foes with contempt and fought with a valor too little known. But it is the American commander-in-chief who stands foremost: Washington, who had never before led an army in battle.
The darkest hours of that tumultuous year were as dark as any Americans have known. Especially in our own tumultuous time, 1776 is powerful testimony to how much is owed to a rare few in that brave founding epoch, and what a miracle it was that things turned out as they did.
Written as a companion work to his celebrated biography of John Adams, David McCullough's 1776 is another landmark in the literature of American history.

This is another well-documented, thorough story about the Revolutionary War which freed America from British rule so it could be FREE.
Killing England: the brutal struggle for America's Independence by Bill O'Reilly
The Revolutionary War as never told before.
This breathtaking installment in Bill O’Reilly and Martin Dugard’s mega-bestselling Killing series transports readers to the most important era in our nation’s history: the Revolutionary War. Told through the eyes of George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and Great Britain’s King George III, Killing England chronicles the path to independence in gripping detail, taking the reader from the battlefields of America to the royal courts of Europe.
This is a perfect book for all ages with many beautiful illustrations, so even very small children can learn and understand all about the Revolutionary War from which America received it's freedoms! In this book, Rush places himself as if one of the soldiers.
Rush Revere and the American Revolution: Time-Travel Adventures With Exceptional Americans by Rush Limbaugh and Kathryn Adams Limbaugh | Oct 28, 2014
THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION HAS BEGUN—AND RUSH REVERE, LIBERTY THE HORSE, AND THE TIME-TRAVELING CREW ARE READY TO RIDE INTO THE ACTION!
Join us on this incredible time-travel adventure!
Liberty, my wisecracking horse, our old friends Cam, Tommy, Freedom, and I are off to meet some super-brave soldiers in the year 1775. Yep, that’s right. We’ll be visiting with the underdog heroes who fought for American independence, against all odds—and won! But not before eight very real years of danger and uncertainty. Be a part of Rush Revere’s crew as we rush, rush, rush into a time when British rule had become a royal pain, and rebellion was in the air. We’ll be on hand to see two lanterns hung in the Old North Church, prevent a British spy from capturing Paul Revere, and grapple with danger at the battles of Lexington, Concord, and Bunker Hill.
The extra special part of this trip is that right here in the twenty-first century, Cam’s dad is a soldier fighting in Afghanistan, and Cam has been pretty angry that he is away. Visiting with exceptional American heroes like Dr. Joseph Warren and George Washington, racing along after Paul Revere on his midnight ride, and seeing the Declaration of Independence signed make Cam see his own dad in a new and special way.
But don’t worry. Along with the danger, excitement, and patriotism, there will still be time to stop for a delicious spinach, oats, and alfalfa smoothie. No, wait—that one’s for Liberty. The kids and I voted for strawberries.
Now let’s open the magic portal to the past!

Thomas Wildus and The Book of Sorrows (The Elandrian Chronicles 1) by J.M. Bergen
Magic is real, Thomas. No matter what happens, always remember that magic is real."
Seven years have passed, and Thomas hasn't forgotten. He hasn't forgotten the blue of his dad's eyes either, or the tickle of beard on his cheek as they hugged goodbye for the very last time.
Now, with his 13th birthday rapidly approaching, Thomas's search for magic is about to take a radical and unexpected turn. At an out-of-the-way shop filled with dusty leather books, a strange little man with gold-flecked eyes offers him an ancient text called The Book of Sorrows. The price is high and the rules are strict, but there's no way Thomas can resist the chance to look inside.
With the mysterious book guiding the way, a strange new world is revealed – a world in which Thomas has a name and destiny far more extraordinary than he ever imagined. But time is short. Even as Thomas uncovers his secret family history, a powerful new enemy emerges, threatening to end his rise to power and destroy everything he holds dear.

This Near Death Experience is intriguing! I am anxious to read it this Summer!
This book is provided by John Hunt Publishing.
What if the after effects of a near-death experience were undeniable? What if a person could suddenly produce high quality paintings of the Afterllife, or if they acquired the ability to compose classical symphonies?
Shine On: The Remarkable Story Of How I Fell Under A Speeding Train, Journeyed To The Afterlife, And The Astonishing Proof I Brought Back With Me by David Ditchfield (Author), J S Jones Ph.D (Author)
Across thousands of years, people have described one of the most astonishing of all human phenomena: the near-death experience (NDE), the subjective experience of an Afterlife, a place where we apparently survive death.
The more powerful the NDE, the more profound the after effects. The ambitious reset their priorities. Atheists change their values. Doctors rethink their beliefs.
But what if the after effects of an NDE were undeniable? What if someone suddenly developed the ability to produce high quality paintings of their NDE, a new-found skill that went far beyond the artistic ability they had before? And what if that same person then suddenly acquired the ability to compose classical symphonies after their NDE? And their symphonies were then premiered at sell out orchestral concerts, even though, to this day, they are unable to read or write a single note of musical notation. Wouldn't this be proof that even a cynic would have a hard time explaining?
After his NDE, this is exactly what happened to David. And this is his story.

Meet: David Ditchfield.:
I was born in Blackpool but raised in Bromsgrove in the West Midlands. I left my inner city comprehensive school with only one qualification having failed almost everything due to undiagnosed severe dyslexia. The only option open was a course learning how to draw letters for adverts, not a great career choice for someone profoundly dyslexic.
After being sacked from my one and only proper job, I moved to London and played three-chord guitar in various rock 'n' roll punk and pop bands and co-wrote a couple of pop songs with Kevin Rowland. Eventually, I drifted away from playing in bands and things went on a downward spiral in my life. I ended up surviving as a manual laborer, my life empty and directionless. It was at this low point that I had a freak accident and was pulled under the wheels of a speeding train.
In the hospital afterwards, I had my amazing near-death experience (NDE). The NDE changed everything for me and inspired me to reach a level of musical and artistic creativity that I had never been capable of achieving before. At first, I felt compelled to produce paintings of what I'd seen in the Afterlife and then I felt moved to compose classical music, even though I've never received any training in classical music and never composed such music before my NDE (in fact, to this day, I still cannot read or write a single note of music at all). My debut symphony, The Divine Light, was inspired by my NDE and I was lucky enough to have it premiered at a sell-out performance. Since then, I have composed a follow-up symphony, '
The Falcon', which was also premiered at a sell-out concert, as was my Cambridge Clarinet Choir commissioned piece 'Awake', conducted by renowned Clarinet player Andrew Webster. I am currently composing a new symphony entitled 'I Wasn't Expecting This'. I came back from the Afterlife charged with an incredible energy, a burning desire to tell everyone there is nothing to fear after death, life continues on.
Before my NDE, my life had been completely ruled by guilt and lack of self-worth. But my NDE gave me the self-love and confidence to go and try whatever I wanted to do in life and that's a wonderful feeling and I want everyone to feel that way.
About J S Jones Ph.D
J S Jones is a British academic. Her PhD investigated a complementary therapy using rigorous scientific methods, an experience that taught her to apply clear-headed logic to esoteric topics. In her post-doctoral academic career, she has authored a number of scientific journal articles and book chapters. Outside the world of academia, she is now working on a new fiction novel, the first in a planned series and thoroughly enjoying the process.
J S Jones talks about SHINE ON. "The events in 'Shine On' really happened and I was a part of them. Having witnessed this story first-hand, I believe it is a remarkable tale that deserves to be told. David has profound dyslexia, so I was delighted when he asked me to co-author the book because he felt I was the one person who could understand his thought processes and capture his language, mood and emotions to help tell his story as authentically as possible.
I read The Undoing and was very impressed with the writing and the story idea! I am so anxious to read the recently published second book in the series!
A fresh take on a dystopian storyline, The Undoing is a page-turner with unforgettable characters and an intriguing plot that will keep you hooked from beginning to end. Fans of Divergent, The Amber Project, and Year One will love The Undoing

Fateful Journey Back in Time,
Surprising Glimpse of the Asian Mind
The book was published in Japanese for the first time in 1943, and has continued to be popular with readers of all ages in Japan for many decades. The English translation has recently been released and is now drawing interest from readers in many countries. When we read this book, we can step outside of our current modern-day perspective and glimpse into the mindset of Asian fishermen and sealife researchers more than a century in the past. The men display a bold and yet gentle spirit of courage, innovation and cooperation which is rare today, and attractive. The reader feels as if he or she is also stranded on the island, striving with the men in their dilemma.
The Japanese version of this book continues to be reprinted, and has garnered hundreds of positive and appreciative reviews. Now the story is newly available for a much wider audience of readers to enjoy in English. It conveys a peculiarly compelling and intriguing “Zen” nature. If you would like to have an adventurous journey of traveling backwards in Time to experience being shipwrecked with comrades on a tiny island, and yet come away from it alive and satisfied and positively influenced by the experience—this book will do it for you.

Ganpu’s family takes up residence in a temporary shack that doubles as a chai shop near the Bandra Kurla Complex in a Mumbai suburb. One day during monsoon season, when Ganpu’s parents are out working, a harmless drizzle suddenly turns into a torrential downpour, which quickly floods the streets.Julie, Rick, James, and Saira, four international students whose parents all live in India, are supposed to be taking a boat trip to the Elephant Caves, but the unexpected cloudburst dampens their plans. After the tour group heads back to land, their guide leaves them with a stranger—a local teacher named Anu—at a bus stop while he looks for help. Local teens Siva, Javed, and Xinmin, enthralled by the Mumbai rains, decide to venture out into the city instead of going straight home after school and find themselves also stranded at the bus stop.
This ragtag group of mixed classes, races, and genders is forced to seek shelter with one another in Ganpu’s family’s shop. While they wait, the intensity of the rain increases, threatening their survival. With no way of contacting their frantic parents, the group reluctantly waits together to be rescued. When it appears an outside rescue might be impossible, Ganpu wholly commits to saving the lives of his guests despite their distrust of him, a lowly roadside hawker. In order for his plan to work, though, he must destroy his family’s only home and livelihood, while each one of the stranded must overcome personal demons and prejudices.Terrified and left with no other way out, Anu must conquer her own fears and motivate the kids to work together, or else the whole crew will face certain death. This thrilling, edge-of-your-seat story demonstrates how courage, heart, and integrity is necessary to change our lives and the world around us.
ABOUT the AUTHOR:
Rajesh Naiksatam was born and raised in Mumbai, India. At age ten, while on the school playground, Rajesh was hit by a powerfully thrown but misguided javelin. By the grace of God, the javelin wobbled at the very last moment and lost its momentum, fortunately leaving Rajesh with nothing more than a half-inch-deep hip wound.
Rajesh's late father, Shrikant Naiksatam, was one of the finest animators and visual effects artists India has ever produced. Shrikant wanted Rajesh to become a computer engineer, but Rajesh was more interested in following in his father's footsteps and joining the creative field. Eventually, Rajesh convinced Shrikant to let him work with him. While training with his father in animation and visual effects, Rajesh had the privilege of working with Prahlad Kakar, India's advertisement guru. Prahlad gave Rajesh an opportunity to direct his first stop-motion animation film for a commercial, which won an Advertising Club Award.
Rajesh came to the United States to pursue a master's degree in computer graphics at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, where one of his teachers was Chris Wedge, the director of the movie Ice Age.
After graduating from SVA, Rajesh worked for Tony Ciao’s company Data Motion Arts in New York City, where part of his job was training interns. Visual effects artist John Kohn was one of his interns. A few months after John's internship ended, he went to Los Angeles for work and convinced Rajesh to also move there, inviting him to stay in his apartment until Rajesh found a job. Since then Rajesh has worked with several film studios, including Boss Films, Digital Domain, Warner Bros., Walt Disney Animation, DreamWorks, and Sony Pictures Imageworks.

Answers… to the Difficult Questions’. by Dennis Waite
Released March 27, 2020.\Paperback: 768 pages
Publisher: Mantra Books (March 27th, 2020)
ISBN-10: 1789042208 | ISBN-13: 978-1789042207
All seekers encounter problems periodically. A question arises which appears to challenge the veracity of their chosen path. If an answer is not found quickly, there is a great danger that the particular teaching will be abandoned and another sought. This book records the questions from hundreds of seekers over the years and the answers I gave.
This book does not simply record the questions and answers as originally made. They are grouped into 7 sections and 57 sub-sections. Each section in the book begins with an introduction. This is then followed by the questions that have been asked, which relate to this topic.
Most seekers picking up this book will already be familiar with most of these Sanskrit terminology so the answers (and sometimes the questions) often use these words without any explanation. For those readers who are not familiar, however, all terms are defined in the Glossary at the end of the book.

About the Author:
Albina Ramey was born in Ukraine in 1971. She grew up in the era of classicism and is an artist by nature with great influence of folk tales of Ukrainian and Russian authors such as a Gogol, Pushkin, and many more. She dreamed to be a restorer of antiquities. In 1989, as she finished high school, her life twisted in a different direction. After Ukraine declared its independence, the country fell into a hard and harsh economic depression. She, like many other young people of those times, sunk in life. There was no opportunity to work or continue education. To make a living, she took on many jobs in different fields but she felt like she could do so much more with her life. In 1998, her life took a turn as she got an opportunity to move to the United States, where she went to college to become a surgical technologist. Working as a caregiver of labor and delivery, and with the knowledge and influence of Slavic fairy-tales, she began to get a true appreciation of life in the way of birth and the miraculous force in a tiny baby’s fight for survival, which Albina Ramey took as a starting point for this allegoric story. Learning about nature spawned the inspirational idea for a story in which a little girl named Maya’s life in Nimbus, the city of forgotten spirits, becomes an unexpected adventure.

Nine-year-old Emma is lost at sea in a terrible storm. She awakens on a desolate island, frightened and lonely. Yet brave, quick-witted Emma will not be alone for long, as the ghost of a bellboy appears with the tragic tale of the Grand Wenlocke.
More than a century ago, a brilliant inventor built a splendid Victorian resort, the Grand Wenlocke. The hotel was powered by a Difference Engine, a miraculous device that could slow down time (making your vacation just as long as you’d like). But just before it was scheduled to open, the Grand Wenlocke mysteriously sank under the sand. Now the storm that brought Emma to the island has awakened the hotel, perfectly preserved and as incredible as ever.
While exploring the magical hotel, Emma encounters a kind-hearted cook and her faithful little dog, a seemingly fearsome pirate captain, and the imperious young heir to the Wenlocke fortune (should it ever be recovered). Adventure, friendship, peril, and perhaps even treasure—all these and more await Emma at the hotel under the sand.

Murder in an Irish Cottage (Irish Village Mystery #5) by Carlene O'Connor 304 pages
Published February 25th 2020 by Kensington Books
In a remote—and superstitious—village in County Cork, Ireland, Garda Siobhán O'Sullivan must solve a murder where the prime suspects are fairies . . .
Family is everything to Siobhán: her five siblings; her dear departed mother for whom the family business, Naomi's Bistro, is named; and now her fiancé, Macdara Flannery. So precious is her engagement that Siobhán wants to keep it just between the two of them for a little longer.
But Macdara is her family, which is why when his cousin Susan frantically calls for his help, Siobhán is at his side as the two garda rush from Kilbane to the rural village where Susan and her mother have recently moved. Unfortunately, tragedy awaits them. They find Susan, who is blind, outside the cottage, in a state. Inside, Aunt Ellen lies on her bed in a fancy red dress, no longer breathing. A pillow on the floor and a nearby teacup suggest the mode of death to their trained eyes: the woman has been poisoned and smothered. Someone wanted to make sure she was dead. But who?
Devout believers in Irish folklore, the villagers insist the cottage is cursed—built on a fairy path. It turns out Ellen Delaney was not the first to die mysteriously in this cottage. Although the townsfolk blame malevolent fairies, Siobhán and Macdara must follow the path of a murderer all too human—but just as evil . .
About Carlene O'Connor:
Carlene O'Connor comes from a long line of Irish storytellers. Her great-grandmother emigrated from Ireland to America during the Troubles, and the stories have been flowing ever since. Of all the places across the pond she's wandered, she fell most in love with a walled town in County Limerick and was inspired to create the town of Kilbane, County Cork. Carlene currently divides her time between New York and the Emerald Isle.

It was a matter of beginner’s luck, but rookie detective Steven Quaid’s career and reputation as an elite investigator skyrocketed when he captured one of the most sadistic serial killers in Alaskan history: Stowy Jenkins, AKA the Snowman. But that was ten years ago.
And now…Jenkins is back. Escaped from prison and on the move, his bloodlust is stronger than ever, and his methods of torture are even more horrifying than before. As his bloody rampage continues and the number of mutilated bodies mounts, terrified Alaskans increasingly doubt Quaid’s ability to catch the killer again. The detective’s reputation is on the line, and he’s going to need a lot more than luck, because this time, Jenkins is driven by more than the thrill of a random kill.
This time, it’s more personal. He’s out for revenge…and his ultimate target is Quaid. In a deadly game of cat-and-mouse, Jenkins starts picking off the people in Quaid’s life…slowly, gradually tightening his circle of corpses and drawing ever closer to the most important person in Quaid’s life…his wife. Can Quaid do the impossible again? Can he outmaneuver the killer, or has the detective’s luck finally run out?

At one time Alaska called to me, and I answered. I learned to sleep under the midnight sun, survive in below zero temperatures, and hike the Mountain Ranges. I’ve traveled from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez, and the memories are some of my most valued. The wonders, mysteries and incredible beauty that is Alaska has never left me and thus now influences my writing.
Despite my adventurous spirit, I achieved my educational goals, married, and I have two handsome sons. Writing is now my focus, my newest adventure!

This is a YA Red Fox is an innovative take on dystopian and utopian worlds, donated by the author! Read about it below!
Red Fox by Lara Fanning
In the 1950’s, a Siberian scientist began an experiment with one goal in mind - to breed a domesticated variation of the red fox. After ten generations of breeding the scientist had reduced the Adrenalin levels in the animal and created a tame creature named the Silver Fox.
Decades later, the Australian government use this knowledge to devise a shocking plan that will end humanity as the world knows it.
When Freya Walker and her family are ordered to attend a town meeting by the ruthless Biocentric government, Freya is certain something horrible will occur.
The people of her town are split into four groups of people: As, Bs, Cs and Ds. Freya is the only one placed into the mysterious Bs group and transported to a ring in the bush-land where she must survive a fortnight without food, water or weapons with her new companion and fellow Bs member, Whilliam Cliff.
As Freya and Whil begin to unravel the truth behind the Bs group, fighting for their freedom becomes a key part in overthrowing the Government and putting an end to their heinous plans for humanity.

I am a 27-year-old Australian woman and began writing novels of all genres when I was just a girl. This manuscript, titled Red Fox, was the first novel I began writing with the sincere intent of sharing the book with the world upon its completion. I wrote Red Fox when I was twenty years old, and due to the passion I felt for the story-line, characters, and plot, the first draft was finished within four weeks of its beginning.
Red Fox follows the adolescent years of a girl named Freya Walker, who has grown up in a time period rife with natural disasters, poverty, and economic collapse brought upon by the fall of the natural world and government greed. Freya discovers that the Biocentrics have developed a plan to revert modern humans into a more naturalistic state through a selective breeding program. Developing such a plotline allowed me to explore a number of gripping and compelling themes, but Red Fox asks the question that many people, today, are asking:
“Where do we find balance between conserving the natural world and bettering mankind?”
The themes in Red Fox revolve around loyalty, courage, hope, empathy, acceptance, and bravery, while many of the lines between good and evil are blurred. The story is highly relevant in our modern society, as the struggles that Freya and her companions face reflect those that people all across the world are now facing.
The book contains subtle references to climate change and environmental degradation caused by humankind, however these are presented in a way that is open to interpretation. The novel is written in a manner that promotes personal reflection and thought.
Red Fox is the first novel of a three-part series. The two following novels are titled Red Fox, Silver Fox and Earth of Foxes. and the characters within the novel – both good and evil – are far more complex and relatable than other characters from similar titles. Due to the relevance of the issues within Red Fox, I would love to see the novel read by many more young people. Red Fox is driven by an adventurous and emotive writing style, and is thought-provoking while also being refreshing, fun, and easy to read.
My passion for writing, my love of the natural world, and my fondness of the kindness humans can display was poured into this novel. I would love to share that with other young people while inspiring them through the concepts and characters in Red Fox.
Lara Fanning is a 27-year-old Australian author who writes fiction, sci-fi, and fantasy novels that are often set in either highly-modified modern or untouched wild settings. She attempts to present thought-provoking themes in a unique manner, often touching upon themes of environmental conservation, advancing technologies and sciences, and human spirit and strength. In her works, Lara Fanning attempts to provoke reader reflection through the use of fast-paced action and adventure scenes alongside complicated, multi-dimensional characters. Currently, her published works comprise three young adult novels that are part of a dystopian-adventure trilogy called the Red Fox series. A new stand-alone novel will be released in 2021.
Lara Fanning completed a Bachelor of Zoology in 2018, and a science honors degree in 2019, majoring in animal welfare science. In her university years, she focused her attention on environmental and animal welfare studies. Aside from writing, her passions include horse riding, animal training, hiking and swimming, drawing, and ice skating.

When competing card sharps stir up Siobhán O'Sullivan's quiet Irish village, a poker tournament turns into a game of Hangman . . .
Naomi's Bistro, managed by the many siblings of the lively O'Sullivan brood, is the place to go for a cuppa tea in Kilbane. For a pint or a game of darts, it's the pub you want. But when Dublin card sharp Eamon Foley is found swinging from the rafters of Rory Mack's pub, it's time for the garda to take matters into their own hands. Macdara Flannery would lay odds it's a simple suicide, but Siobhán suspects foul play. With conflicting theories abounding, tensions are running high between Siobhán and Macdara. Soon it's up to Siobhán to call a killer's bluff, but if she doesn't play her cards right, she may be the next one taken out of the game . . .

"The intricate puzzle and continuing Irish atmosphere make this the series' best to date."

An examination of the legacy of the Caribbean Irish, who few know were some of the earliest settlers in the British West Indies.
The Caribbean Irish explores the little known fact that the Irish were amongst the earliest settlers in the Caribbean. They became colonisers, planters and merchants living in the British West Indies between 1620 and 1800 but the majority of them arrived as indentured servants. This book explores their lives and poses the question, were they really slaves? As African slaves started arriving en masse and taking over servants’ tasks, the role of the Irish gradually diminished. But the legacy of the Caribbean Irish still lives on.

This book aims to present readers with a straightforward guide to the older fairy beliefs, covering everything from Fairyland itself to details about the beings within it. The Otherworld is full of dangers and blessings, and this guidebook will help you navigate a safe course among the Good People.

About the Author
Regina Scott started writing novels in the third grade. Thankfully for literature as we know it, she didn’t sell her first novel until she learned a bit more about writing. Since her first book was published, her stories have traveled the globe, with translations in many languages including Dutch, German, Italian, and Portuguese. She now has more than forty-five published works of warm, witty romance.
She loves everything about England, so it was only a matter of time before she started her own village. Where more perfect than the gorgeous Dorset Coast? She can imagine herself sailing along the chalk cliffs, racing her horse across the Downs, dancing at the assembly, and even drinking the spa waters. She drank the waters in Bath, after all!
Regina Scott and her husband of 30 years reside in the Puget Sound area of Washington State on the way to Mt. Rainier. She has dressed as a Regency dandy, learned to fence, driven four-in-hand, and sailed on a tall ship, all in the name of research, of course. Learn more about her at her website.
