My favorite romantic experience would be for me to be home alone with a good book. Preferably a Stephen King or a sword and sorcery fantasy book.

A quiet evening at home is just the ticket for a romantic interlude. A romantic dinner is very effective at creating romance. For a more casual time, I make some popcorn and watch movies at home.

I love travelling and really love the ocean. I prefer going off season, like March or October so that the walks we take or the bike rides are better with less traffic. I can't think of anything more peaceful than reading a book on the balcony while listening and watching the ocean from my room. I really love room service! For me, the whole experience is about not having to do a darn thing!

My dream romantic experience would be to be alone with my hubby. There is no phone and no computers. It would be in a cottage with food already prepared and beautiful flowers and candles decorating it. Sweet music playing in the background and lots of pillows and comfy loungers.

Honestly right now anytime together is perfect for us....we were a dual military couple for 20 years and half of our enlistment is when we got married knowing full well the struggle it would be on a marriage we made is work between both of us being deployed several times and having 2 young children, then hubby getting diagnosed with stage IV cancer at the end of my time in service ~ he still had time left ~ he not only kicked cancers butt, but also was able to stay on active duty! He was cancer free for 10 years until this year when another type of cancer hit him....needless to say ~ we face so many struggles in our marriage that make us so strong that we don’t need a holiday to reaffirm how much we love and care for each other....we prove it everyday ~ I shaved my hair off for him amd will keep it shaved until he’s done with treatments ~ and if I could find another way to honor him I would! He’s my rock, my heart and my soul 💙🍀🦋⚓️

We have 4 kids and have been married 13.5 years, so my idea of romance is sleeping in with my spouse and not waking up to screaming kids or jobs for a few days.
