THIS SECOND BOOK IS RECOMMENDED FOR ALL CHRISTIAN INSTITUTIONS AND FAMILIES! THIS IS A SIMPLE NATIVITY DRAMA THAT CAN BE PORTRAYED BY 6 CHARACTERS UP TO 25 CHARACTERS. IT WILL BE A SIMPLE YET INSPIRING PRODUCTION!
Synopsis of the Nativity Pageant Adapted by Neil K. Johnson
Most of us Christians have often participated in, or watched, dramatizations of the nativity pageant at Christmas time. We know the thrill children have in performing it, as well as the enjoyment of the adults. We also know how there are usually many mistakes in these often-hastily prepared productions that diminish the potential effect of this great story.
This script of the Nativity Pageant dramatization (from the King James Version of the New Testament) is a simple dramatization of the events surrounding the birth of our Savior. Its purpose is to present the six scenes of the nativity in a meaningful, yet simple, way.
Some of the highlights are having two narrators and giving very simple, but effective stage movement to the actors. It can be effectively presented with as few as six actors or as many as 25, so it's ideal for presentations in either home or church. It takes about 15 minutes total performance time if you choose to do all 6 scenes.
