REVIEW By LAWonder10:
The continuing adventures of Sebastian and Melissa continue. I enjoyed this book even more than the first because it had fewer characters in it to visualize. It was much easier picturing the characters and scenes.
At first the two children were uneasy about staying in a house with an older couple they didn't know. They would also be leaving their housekeeper, cook, nanny behind. Their parents said she needed a vacation , too. The house looked in need of repair and kind of "creepy".
The two were pleasantly surprised with both the couple and the house. Was it really haunted? Thee elderly gentleman didn't seem to think so..
The children's hearts were touched when they were told the story of a former resident. Was ther anything they could do?
I really like this series because it deals with overcoming fears and self doubt. It also addresses sacrifices for good.
The Narrator. Kim Bretton, once again, gives an fantastic performance in her delivery of this novel.
The characters and scenes are easily visualized and feel real.
I offer a Five Stars rating for this book and narration.
