![]() About Audiobook #2 Author: Victoria Walker Narrator: Kim Bretton Length: 5 hours 34 minutes Publisher: Victoria Clayton Limited⎮2020 Genre: Fantasy; Children’s Series: Sebastian and Melissa, Book 2 Release date: Jul. 22, 2020 Synopsis: The sequel to The Winter of Enchantment and the return of Mantari the magic cat. Sebastian and Melissa would never forget their arrival at the house called Hadlows. The long drive through the neglected park and woodland, the lake glimpsed through trees, the house, with its "thousand windows"looking down on them and the great hall, empty but for the portraits covering the walls. Hadlows held a secret, of that they were sure. REVIEW By LAWonder10: The continuing adventures of Sebastian and Melissa continue. I enjoyed this book even more than the first because it had fewer characters in it to visualize. It was much easier picturing the characters and scenes. At first the two children were uneasy about staying in a house with an older couple they didn't know. They would also be leaving their housekeeper, cook, nanny behind. Their parents said she needed a vacation , too. The house looked in need of repair and kind of "creepy". The two were pleasantly surprised with both the couple and the house. Was it really haunted? Thee elderly gentleman didn't seem to think so.. The children's hearts were touched when they were told the story of a former resident. Was ther anything they could do? I really like this series because it deals with overcoming fears and self doubt. It also addresses sacrifices for good. The Narrator. Kim Bretton, once again, gives an fantastic performance in her delivery of this novel. The characters and scenes are easily visualized and feel real. I offer a Five Stars rating for this book and narration. *This book was gifted me with no pressure for a positive review. this is my honest review.
