REVIEW by LAWonder10:
'The Red Fence' is a whimsical tale about a community that did everything the same, reluctantly accepting change.
It us written and illustrated similar to the Dr. Seuss books. Illustrator, Jen Polk did a admirable job in depicting the same type of images wit bright, clear colors .
The story is written in rhyme done well, yet steady rhythm was lacking. The only other negative thought was, I felt there was more emphasis on the negative aspect of the book with an abrupt ending with the positive. I feel a couple of more pages of the positive outcome would have added to the story.
All in all, the book was well-written and the images were colorful, bold and eye-catching. The Book Cover and Title were also eye-catching and well chosen.
I offer a Four and a Half Stars rating.
*This book was gifted me with no pressure for a positive review. This is my honest review.
Why I Write Childrenâs Books
by Ed Damiano
I write childrenâs books for several reasons. One, Ijust like writing them. I like writing books that send a good message accompanied by a good story. A childâs attention can be hard to grasp because their minds are continually in need of stimulation. A boy or girl will run around the house but will sit still like a statue if you turn on a cartoon ontelevision. I always strive to write a book that will make a kid sit still with the same attention as if they were watching their favorite television show, while at the same time putting in their mind valuable lessons like believing inyourself or treat others the way that you would like to be treated. I donât seek accolades or wealth for what I do. I do it out of love. Love for my kids. And because at heart, Iâm a big kid too.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
