Review By LAWonder10:
Normally I wouldn’t, willingly, promote a book with bad language and sexual content. However, this book tastefully portrayed this very serious subject matter. The sexual abuse experienced by most young girls is abhorrent. It is often committed by loved ones we trust. Most of us avoid speaking of it. It is very normal for girls and women to feel she is somehow responsible for it. Boys and young men aren’t exempt. Many girls and women have failed to report it. Men and boys are even less forthcoming.
The shame and painfulness of this subject are usually avoided, yet it is a very real, very big problem that needs to be addressed. (However, many feel the education system is doing a very poor job in its effort to address this problem. In most cases, parents who are trying their best to be good parents get turned in to “Family Services” over some inconsequential thing and the true victims are too terrified, confused, embarrassed and full of self-blame to report or admit to it.
This book touches lightly on the severity of the aftermath. Sexual abuse has been tied to many behavioral problems, criminal activity, promiscuity, and health issues. It is serious and shouldn’t be “swept under the rug”.
The author has written a touching, redemptive, and plausible story.
*Spoiler: I love how the author brings out the importance of forgiveness, not forgetting, for the benefit of the person wronged, in spite of the PTDS it causes.
I offer a Four and a Half Stars rating on this book.
*This book was gifted me with no pressure to post a positive review. this is my honest review.

WHAT IS MY FAVORITE TRAVEL SPOT? by S.R. Fabrico
My favorite travel spot is the beach, any beach! I absolutely love the ocean, the smell of salt air, the sound of the waves, and the feeling of the sand between my toes. I feel completely at peace when I am near the ocean.
I like to keep it real. Life is busy, it can be messy and exhausting.
I am a wife and a mom. I have a full-time career and I write for fun; it is my escape. While I love being all those things, it isn’t always sunshine and roses. I mean seriously…is your life? Is anyones? It isn’t about perfection, it is about appreciating the moments and making them count. Each passing second is a memory. The beach for me is a place to unwind, destress, re-energize and just BE! It is a reset of sorts. I feel like my entire body and soul is connected to the waves, the ebbs and flows of the tides soothe me. At the beach I don’t have to be anything other than Stacy living in the moment, appreciating the beauty around me, thriving in the NOW.
I enjoy drinking coffee and watching the sunrise. I love to sit in the sand and read a good book, never my own! Building sandcastles with my kiddos is great fun, and we enjoy burying their father in the sand. Hand-in-hand walks with my husband along the water’s edge are special moments that I will always treasure. Visiting the local establishments and taking in the local ambiance is always nice too. I will carry these moments with me forever.
Find your happy place! Today only happens once, make it amazing
