Hungry Hearts - Julie Hoag
This book has a good story line. It addresses many of the things teenage kids go through in their jr. high and high school years. The mean things kids do to other kids is unbelievable
I wish there was a way to get through to them so they could understand the harm they cause. Also get them to care about others enough not to continue to hurt them.
The characters are well-developed and their feelings and emotions are well-written and easy to feel. Brian is my hero. He got hurt more than once but was fast to forgive and came back.
The story flows well from chapter to chapter and is easy to follow along.
I recommend this book to others to enjoy a good story and also to learn more about what goes on with our youth.
This is a great deal of profanity throughout the book.
I give this book a literary rating of 5/5
