MY REVIEW: (LAWonder10)
Although this is Tanya Fyfe's third book in her 'Missing Lake' series, it was still very enjoyable as a "stand alone". It was easy to "pick up" on the main jest of the story, but I am sure it would have even been more enjoyable had I read the first Two!
This is a very enjoyable, relaxing read, especially for young adults. It addresses many of their maturing issues.
Although this is, in part, a story about Luke's secret Dragons, and his interaction with them, this book is primarily about his interactions with parents and friends.
The characters are very endearing and realistic. The scenes are depicted in a way the reader can easily visualize them.
The The Book Cover is AMAZING! It is of high quality card-stock and the texture and artistry is OUTSTANDING! It will certainly catch the browser's eyes. The Title is also a great "fit".
This was gifted me with no suggestion I offer a positive review. This is my honest review
I offer a solid Four Stars rating
Praise for the Book:
Praise Secrets Abound in Missing Lake by Tanya Fyfe“This seems to be a realistic portrayal of coming of age preoccupations and trials--with the added interest of a link with dragons that must be kept secret. Dragons, humans, and sled dogs come to life with equal vividness.”-Margaret, Goodreads Review “The very talented Dr. Tanya Fyfe does it again. In her latest installment of the Missing Lake saga, we romp through Luke’s adventures with high school, veterinary medicine, and of course, dragons. In this third book of the series, Fyfe intertwines the relationships of a blended family, teenagers, and dragons. There is a great bit of fun and just the right dose of medicine.” -Kelly Malinas, DVM, Nevada
Praise Dragons of Missing Lake by Tanya Fyfe“What fun to read books that are imaginative, well paced, varied, and knowledgeable. I plan to go buy the third in the series tomorrow.”- Margaret, Goodreads Review “What a fun adventure Luke goes on in this book.
