I could see myself there hiking with the characters. There is so much adventure and suspense in this story. I love the wildlife included. The characters are well-developed. Ash and Vale are true best friends. It's great the way they always think of the other one in every situation. It's easy to feel their emotions on every level. I recommend this book to those who love a good adventure.
