Gypsy For God by Yvonne M. Morgan – Review by LAWonder10!

I Spotlighted this book 2 or 3 weeks ago and due to unforeseen circumstances was unable to read/review it at that time.

This is a fictionalized story that addresses spiritual proptings; poverty; charitable work to aid the poor; sex trafficking and much more. I highly recommend it.

This is a captivating story of a woman who loved her husband who refused to adopt when they discovered she couldn’t have children. Now, near middle age, she lost her job. However, she soon got an opportunity to put her organizational skis to work by creating a Travel Agency. She soon discovers her skills can be used in other ways.

This is a wonderful story that presents several important points:

Keeping “the lines” open to God; Being aware of promptings and following them; Feeling compassion; Research; Patience; Planning; Informing others;  Creating a support group; consistently following through; Developing unity among supporters; Reaching out to others; More Research; Organizing; Problem-solving;

These topics are all brought together in the interesting way this story is written. It is also very informative.

It is inspiring to me by gently reminding me of the importance of constant, earnest prayer and scripture study.

I have a firm belief in my religion, but I am reminded that God’s Spirit is not a respecter of persons but He speaks to people of other faiths or those who are good yet ignorant of Him. He knows one’s heart and thoughts. All good people need to work together for the cause of humanity.

The characters and situations all feel very real. She has effectively been able to “bring the reader “into the story and feel connected to it.
