The Monsters on Mill Street series are very cute books for very young children. Although perfect for the month of October, they are delightful any time of the year.
The Messiest Monster on Mill Street is a cute story about a very messy monster that will surely bring a lot of laughter from small children. It was slightly too extreme to be a sound lesson in teaching children. I also found the writing to be less rhyming and rhythmic than the other two books were. However, it was still a fun story and one the children will surely enjoy.
The images, created by Sypha Vendez, were very colorful. contained great expression and were easily identified, The illustrations were created using popular cartoonish images.
The Cover Image was very simple, yet eye-catching and effective.
I offer a Four Stars rating for this book.
