She and her event planner friend and colleague, Edna Dratch-Parker are the Real Deal Wedding Insiders®. Together they wrote the Guide to Smart Wedding Planning to give couples honest and actionable steps to help them enjoy the wedding planning journey and make the right decisions in a timely manner. When not designing flowers or giving wedding planning advice, Jeri can be found in her garden, on her yoga mat, with her husband watching her son play soccer, or relaxing with some good chocolate and snuggling with her cat.

Edna Dratch-Parker, owner and creative director of EFD Creative – Event Planning & Design, brings more than 30 years of experience as an artist, creative director, small business owner and entrepreneur. Edna’s talent as a designer, passion for event planning and desire to connect with people to turn their visions into reality encompasses everything she loves to do.
Edna and Jeri Solomon, a close colleague and friend, created Real Deal Wedding Insiders® as a platform to help get the word out to couples getting married on the best steps and strategies for moving forward on planning their wedding. They co-authored Guide to Smart Wedding Planning to assist couples through their journey.
Edna has received a number of industry honors, including “Wedding of the Year” from NACE NATIONAL – National Association of Catering and Events, “Social Event Planner of the Year” from BizBash and “Trendsetter of the Year” from Wedding Planner magazine. Edna’s work has been published nationally in magazines and blogs, including Boston Wedding Magazine, Bliss Celebrations Guide, The Knot Magazine, The Knot – Ultimate Wedding Lookbook, Southern New England Weddings, Flower Magazine and a coffee table book called Art of Celebration: The Making of a Gala, New England edition. Her work has also been featured in blogs such as Style Me Pretty and Grace Ormonde.
