Review By LAWonder10:

Young Nicolas is on a serious journey for his aristocratic father. There seems to be a problem with Nicolas’s elder brother.

Clarissa has recently received the tragic news of her parent’s sudden deaths. She has worked beside her father for years but is still in the learning process with their thoroughbreds. The estate ownership is thrust back to her maternal Grandmother. Little did they realize the debt it was under. Somehow they must save the estate from a wicked former business partner of her fathers.

When Nicholas is called upon to refresh Clarissa’s limited dance skills in exchange for room and board, both of their lives are changed.

This very well-written novel is filled with social graces, danger, beauty, action, romance, and suspense.

The characters are very real and the scenes are very easily visualized. The Title and Cover Image are chosen well and are very eye-catching.

The book was both intriguing and captivating. Although slightly predictable, there were enough twists and turns, that the readers’ attention.

The only negative was the slightly abrupt ending. The whole book flowed fairly smoothly until the end. It felt wrong.

I offer a Four and a Half Stars rating.

This book was gifted me with no pressure to post a positive review. This is my honest review.
