Book Description:
The San Ramos High students are busy rehearsing their performance of Our Town when the school and the surrounding towns are rocked by a 7.1 earthquake. As a series of unusual aftershocks disrupt the town further, their school is deemed unsafe, and the show is postponed indefinitely unless they can find a way to turn that bad luck around. Dealing with their own personal difficulties and led by the stage manager, Sandee, who is working her way through the loss of her brother, they attempt to bring the community together, make the performance a success, and do their share to raise funds to rebuild. Both the show and life must go on!

Review By LAWonder10:
Disrupted is a story about a very unusual amount of earthquake events and the effects it had on one particular school and the lives of the students, adults in the community, and the devastations they all had to deal with. It’s also about a student who determined that a planned event should still happen to recreate morale and pull the community together. The question was, can she succeed in getting the involvement and making it happen?
The story was a good one. It caused one to consider the possibility and what profound effect it would have on so many lives.
The characters were portrayed well and felt very real. The background scenes were easily visualized. The energy flowed steadily throughout the story.
The only real problem I had was the several references the author made stating it was due to “global warming”. This is still controversial.
If one researches the earth’s history, these types of events and changes have happened throughout its history. Human beings never controlled it. They are not controlling it now. Yes, we need to be responsible in caring for our environment. The extremes are strictly opinions.
I offer a Four and a Half Stars rating.
This book was gifted to me with no pressure to pst a positive review. This is my honest review.

Thank you so-o-o much! Greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much for posting your positive review. I appreciate all the nice things you said, and you’re exactly right when you say no one knows if there’s any connection between global warming and earthquakes. Sometimes high school kids wonder about these things–at least I hope they do.
May I quote your caption in red? And would you consider posting this review on Amazon?
Many thanks! ????
Hi, Lynn,
I did post a Review on Amazon. I will also be posting it on Goodreads also.
