Review By LAWonder10:
Did you ever want to be a twin? After reading/listening to the book, Twin Power, each child will surely wish he/she was a twin!
This book simply states what connections most twins experience. It brings yearning even many adults will feel. It is especially a fun book for twins to enjoy.
The book contains simple text so even very young toddlers can understand. It is colorfully well done, in a cartoonish fashion, which is very popular with children. The images portray many emotions.
There are discussion questions at the end of the book to aid parents/teachers in developing understanding and encouraging children to ask questions. There are also a few fun coloring pages at the end of the book.
I offer a Four and a Half Stars rating for his book.
This book was gifted to me with no pressure to post a positive review. This is my honest review.

Do We Have Other Children?
Before our twins were born, we had a son named Caleb. He unfortunately passed away a week after he was born. He was our first child and as you can imagine, this was a tragic loss for our family.
Sadly, we attempted to have another child later and had a miscarriage. We honestly did not think we would ever try to have children again, but we were left with a void to fill. With time, we decided to take a leap of faith once more. To our surprise, we got pregnant with our twins and rainbow babies, Owen and Zara. We held our breath for 38 weeks and 1 day of what proved to be an uncomplicated pregnancy and they were born healthy and happy. It was a much-needed gift.
They are the absolute loves of our lives, especially because of our losses and are of course, the inspiration for the Twin Power book series. We still carry Caleb in our hearts and in fact, he makes an appearance in the second book, Twin Power Best Snow Day Ever. On the 5th page (2nd page of the actual story) where the twins are staring out the window looking at the snow, there’s a small angel hanging from the curtain rod above Simone’s head that is symbolic of Caleb. This is in keeping with our own family as each of our children has a small angel in their rooms, representing their older brother looking down on them. We expect to
symbolize him in future books in the series as well.

Ben and Kiyanda Young are the proud parents of an amazing set of fraternal twins, Zara and Owen. As parents, they promote individuality among their children while encouraging their twins to support and rely on one another. The special bond between Zara and Owen is what inspired the Youngs to write Twin Power, the first in a series of award-winning books highlighting the unique relationship that twins share.
