Review By LAWonder10:
This is a sweet story that will fit in with anyone’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration!
It is a gentle reminder that one’s attitude and composure will greatly influence how others deem one. It is a story about wanting to feel like one belongs.
The watercolor images are colorful and well done. They contain appropriate expressions. My personal preference is for “crisper” images. But that does not affect my literary rating.
The idea was a great one. However, the rhythm and flow were “off”. Still, it would be a great St. Patrick’s Day addition to any library.
I offer a Four-Stars rating.
This book was gifted to me with no pressure to post a positive review. This is my honest review.

In today’s tech-savvy world, most writers use a computer or laptop. Have you ever written parts of your book on paper?
My book is a children’s book, so it doesn’t contain many pages. I actually wrote my first draft on paper. Children’s books need to be a specific amount of pages, so after I wrote my story I had to count how many pages I had written. I edited my story multiple times until it was around 30 pages. Once I had the words on paper it was the starting point. From there I would put it down and come back to it, adding detail to the characters and making my story unique.
I hear many people say they want to write a book, but most won’t go through with it. One of the hardest parts of working on a dream is starting it. I think there is fear, and anxiety because it’s something you’re passionate about, so you want it to be perfect.
Once I put a deadline on completing my children’s book, that pushed me to start it. After I started it, the deadline kept me accountable to myself to finish it. After I finished writing my story, I then went on a new journey looking for an illustrator.
I hope everyone believes in their dreams, no matter how big or small. If you can start the process, you’re halfway there. The rest, you will figure out on the way and look back at what a wonderful journey it’s been.
