Her now-bankrupt life featured shattered dreams, ruined friendships, and the loss of a promising relationship. Now, two years later, the twenty-three-year-old prayed for a second chance with the man she had fallen for at first sight.

Would Cory Sanders finally overlook her egregious mistake in accepting a next-day date and liaison with another man? Or would she have to truly accept life without him?

Review By LAWonder10:

I have truly enjoyed reading the “Hope” series. They were “clean”, inspiring, and “down to earth” stories. Some of the stories I enjoyed more than others but I never felt I wasted my time in reading them.

In Overflow With Hope, the characters seemed genuine, yet a little excessive at times. However, through a lifetime of meeting people from various parts of the world, I do believe there are people out there who truly are excessive and entertain unrealistic excesses.

This book is about dysfunctional relationships, inner self-discovery, and new beginnings.

This was an interesting story but without many twists or turns. It was well-written but the ending was slightly weak for the last book in the series.

The books are well-made with quality paper.

I feel the Title was a poor fit, but the Cover Image was simple but appealing to “the Browser”.

I offer a Four-Stars rating for this book.

This book was gifted to me with no pressure to post a positive review.

This is my honest review.

The Write Way: A Real Slice of Life

My goal as an author is to write authentic stories with relatable characters. Also to portray the experiences of typical people, such as your relative, co-worker, next-door neighbor, or the person who was featured on your local news or online news feed. Even though each of my books is written from a Christian perspective, my characters live very different lives.

In A Gateway to Hope, Neka is a beautiful young woman who lacks confidence in her personal life, even though she is a top-notch designer. Like most folks, she hides her inner fears deep within her private self. Few people comprehend that she is an introvert who yearns for adventure.

In A Living Hope, Sadie surprises her family, friends, and most of all herself when she boots her fiancé and takes up with a man her friends thought she disliked. There was nothing in her well-planned life that hinted she would dump the only man she had ever dated for a jerk. Instead of seeking wise counsel during a personal crisis, she isolates herself from her family and friends.

In The Certain Hope, Tara (who, now thirty two, had only been on one date at age
nineteen) shocks her friends when she contemplates tying the knot with a man she recently met.
She is suddenly making multiple drastic, incomprehensible changes to her understated life.

The first chapter of The Confident Hope lays the groundwork for Pam’s possible love match with her best friend, Mark. By the second chapter, set one year later, they both realize that they have merely lived on the periphery of one another’s lives since high school and that now, huge gaps separate their true knowledge of each other.

In Overflow With Hope, Tempia’s world careens off course due to one disastrous decision regarding her love life. It continues down a difficult path as she ignores the feedback she receives from her family and friends along the way.

Pajama Party: The Story showcases nine teenage girls, some of whom are popular, and some of whom are not. A few of them actively dislike each other. But the girls have more in common than any of them imagine.

My vision for each of my books is for readers to connect on some level with each character. This could be through shared circumstances, situations, or feelings.

“The Write Way: A Real Slice of Life” is the slogan on my Facebook author page. If every person who reads my books feels connected to the characters, my job is done.

MEET the AUTHOR:

E. C. Jackson began her writing career with the full-length play “Pajama Party.” Thirty-one years later, she adapted the play into Pajama Party: The Story, a companion book to the second book in the five-book standalone Hope series.

Jackson’s favorite pastime is reading fiction. She enjoys taking the journey along with the characters in the books. That also led to her unorthodox approach to story writing. Her vision for each book she writes is to immerse readers into the storyline so they become connected with each character.

“The Write Way: A Real Slice of Life” is the slogan on her Facebook author page. She feels that if every person reading her books feels connected to the characters, her job is done.
