Review By LAWonder10:

This is a very realistic and tender love story. It is a story about two individuals who have had two very different heartbreaks, both individuals swear off ever letting that happen again by delving into work and schoolwork.

Lucien is a loner with a negative attitude, yet he can put on the charm when he needs to accomplish something. The only table in the coffee shop has a black journal lying on it. He thought it was someone claiming the tabl. When nobody showed up, he decided to check for an email, phone number, or something of the owner’s identity. At first, he feels annoyed that someone could be so careless. He at first turned it in but returned the next day to discover it had been in a bin and still unclaimed. He claimed it, hoping one day he would discover the owner.

He felt guilty and intrusive, but he soon became captivated and intrigued by the owner’s thoughts and words.

Luna was raised by her beloved grandmother in Hawaii. When in her mid-teens her parents came to take her home to California, Sge adjusted, but Hawaii would always be home to her.

Over a year after Lucien discovered Luna’s journal, he ran into her. When she noticed the journal, he admitted it wasn’t his but he had found it and hoped to find the owner. This opened a cautious but advancing friendship.

The two were in two different stages in their lives. Both lacking in trust. Would their relationship ever go beyond friends?

This was a book of literature with many “twists and turns”. It flowed smoothly and maintained the readers/listeners interest. it was more true to life thanmost literature.

The characters felt real and the background scenes were quite vivid.

The Title was very well chosen, and the Cover image was bright and depicted a key part of the story.

Both Narrators did a great job with accents enunciations, energy, and feeling. However, Josh Domingo had a very smooth pleasant quality to his voice. He also has a very nice singing voice.I would love for him to sing me to sleep, too!

The first love scene was non-explicit and brief but effective. The book was very clean. Thta is what I feel is true writing talent.

I offer a Five Stars rating for this story and narration.
