Review By LAWonder10:
Sunny and the Cats is a very cute story about two communities who has segregated themselves against each other. One brave dog could not understand why they did that so he tried to make a difference.
This is a very good book for summer reading programs and for libraries everywhere. It helps children accept differences without being afraid. The watercolor illustrations were done very well.
I felt like it needed a little more depth so I give it four stars.

Guest Post:

Hello everyone! I am Victoria Otto, a children’s picture book author, and I am here today to share more about myself and my books. Thank you to the lovely Lu Ann at Rockin’ Book Reviews for having me do a guest post on her blog.
Where do you get your inspiration?
From everyday life and experiences! I was inspired to start writing books in general from having experienced bullying in my early childhood. My classmates would pick on me because I wore glasses, had a big nose, and had dyslexia, which made me different from my peers. Because of this, I became an advocate for bullying prevention education and was inspired to start writing picture books that promote anti-bullying but are also engaging and easy to understand for young children to learn about the power of kindness. All of my future books will continue to be inspired by and promote the importance of kindness, inclusivity, and friendship.
